The room was cosy and comfortable for my 3 weeks stay and the beds was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I could communicate well using my phone translator app (a must have in Japan). The WIFI was excellent and fast I had my note pad connected to Netflix and the net without any problems. I have to complement the breakfast catering staff so friendly and charming and the choices I was so surprised were so extensive and high quality and would keep changing. There were four supermarkets selling everything but the sushi and other prepared meals were so extensive and super fresh made on site also cheap (under $5 AUD and they all have microwaves for customers to use) plus there was a Macca's and KFC minutes away. KFC sells these hot pots meals wish we had them here. Lots of other local restaurants and bars in the area with 24/7 FamilyMarts, 7Eleven and Lawsons also. The railway station is on the express stops and is a direct line to KIX airport only 10-minute walk across the bridge which I enjoyed crossing every day trains go direct to Namba and you can change at link stations for Kyoto and Nara. Both easy day trips away. There are many shopping arcades you can visit one being 2.6km long where you can get all things Japanese and plenty of gifts for family and friends. there is a shuttle bus at the station that goes direct to Sakaihigashi Station where one of the Takashimaya stores is located another is at Nara worth the visit my favourite stores. Now to sum it up I would not hesitate to stay or recommend Kuretake Inn Nankai Sakai-Ekimae being well located to everything in Osaka. Breakfasts are excellent and the bar is open later and you can get a dinner from a small menu prepared. Whether you are staying overnight or longer the rooms are not large but serve the purpose well with ensuite (good water pressure and hot water) and very comfortable beds and A/C and plentiful supply of toiletries. Public baths onsite also Japanese style!

Located next to Sakai station and Plat Plat shopping mall. Access to Kansai Airport is easy via the Kansai Airport Express train. Only 15 minutes to Namba by express train. Breakfast was good and the customer service was excellent. Laundry process is like a breeze. You just have to hand over your laundry bag in the morning and collect your clothes in the afternoon. Would definitely book again.

Great location. Coming from Kansai airport just about 40 minutes to Nankai Sakai station. Hotel is just outside the station. Breakfast was great too. There's also a car rental 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Easy to pick up and drop off rental car if driving in Japan.

Location of the hotel is pretty good. Staff are polite, patience and helpful. However, most of the staff have difficulties communicating in English, except for a couple of foreigners who are usually working in the morning. Besides that, all things were good.

The hotel's location proved incredibly convenient with Sakai train station and Platplat mall situated just 2-3 minutes away. Moreover, the lighthouse was easily reachable with a leisurely 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, offering a delightful evening view.
